Last week we had a look at the Mashing Machine at Bruichladdich, a distillery you’ll be hearing more about in the near future. As for this edition, lets have a look at a Wash Back complete with escape ladder. Quite a difficult one…

MERRY CHRISTMAS ADVENTURERS!
Last week’s photo was quite a difficult one, as we had a look at the stills at Deanston. This week we’re going with a distillery that distilled it’s first ever spirit on December 25th, meaning the atheists and agnostics among us still have the right to celebrate tomorrow with a dram.
As always, guesses in the comments below…

First of all I should explain my lack of blog activity recently. Every so often the Whisky Adventure that is my life throws up a schedule so jam packed and exciting that I really want to share it with everyone. However, these trips in Scotland generally happen in places so rural that they have little contact with the outside world. Speyside is one such place.I have just come back from a seven day trip to Speyside and back, cramming in nine distilleries. Nine distilleries I will try to write about in the lead up to Christmas. In the meantime, while I prepare the first post, I’ve decided to launch a Name That Distillery picture game to keep you all busy. The rules are simple:1. Take a look at the picture of some distillery equipment below2. Decide where it is3. Leave your answer using the comments belowThe answer will be the subject of the next blog post. Have fun!My favourite Mash Tun… All distillery pictures have been taken by @WhiskyCraig.
